“The space of the crossing, the gaps between positions on the grid, falls into a theoretical no-body's land”

Brian Massumi.

A desire for lived abstraction exists, with an experiential intervention

using the digital camera as a means of reorganizing the body. Attempting

to be swept away by the endless becomings of movement and the potential of flux.

Identity resists the imposed framed positioning of identification, forming and reforming

the self in motion. The body is present but cannot be seen and, as such, resists its

depiction as a means of objectification. It abstracts the body as a means to reach

beyond the politics of representation.
